Campus Director – Glion and Bulle

Mano earned his Diploma in Hotel Management at our sister school Les Roches and, after gaining valuable industry experience, he returned to his alma mater in 2008. In the subsequent years he held multiple leadership roles, including Alumni Relations, Career and Industry Relations, Student Affairs, and Operations. He assumed the role of Marbella Campus Director in 2022.

Throughout his tenure at Les Roches, Mano played a key role in enhancing the institution’s operations and ensuring high standards of excellence. He oversaw the renewal of the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications for the past ten years, reflecting his focus on maintaining top-tier quality and sustainability standards. As Director of Operations, Mano ensured that every aspect of the campus expansion aligned with Les Roches’ commitment to excellence, efficiency, and quality in the student experience.

During his leadership career at Les Roches, he contributed to a 65% increase in student enrolment over the past decade and, as a member of the Executive Committee, he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s strategic direction, ensuring a cohesive student experience across campuses in Spain and Switzerland, and strengthening ties within the broader Sommet Education network.

Having now taken the role of Campus Director for our two Swiss campuses, Mano aims to leverage his extensive expertise in hotel operations, his passion for fostering exceptional student experiences, and his dedication to sustainability.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, and proficient in several other languages, Mano brings a global perspective to his role with Glion. He says of his appointment:

“As someone who believes deeply in the power of education, hospitality, and people, I’m honored to begin this new chapter as Campus Director at Glion Switzerland. I look forward to honoring its heritage and tradition of excellence while fostering a strong, united community of alumni, students, and staff.”
