Peter Meyer

Campus Director – Glion London

Peter joined the Glion London family in 2020 as a Visiting Lecturer, a role which enabled him to share his wealth of knowledge and experience with our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students.

Two years later he assumed responsibility for managing our specialized hospitality training program for Saudi Arabian students; and in 2023, he took on the roles of Senior Lecturer and BBA Program Manager. This paved the way for his promotion to Campus Director in 2024.

Peter’s hospitality journey began at our sister school, Les Roches, where he earned a Diploma in Hotel Management. This gave him the foundation for a career in the hotel business that encompassed prestigious names including Hilton and Rosewood, and which enabled him to work in locations as diverse as Jamaica, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

Having begun his career in the events discipline, Peter subsequently specialized in sales & marketing and business development. In 2015, he launched his own hospitality consultancy, and around the same time he spread his wings creatively, writing his bestselling autobiography The Boy from the Wild. He later turned it into a documentary film which features on the Amazon streaming platform.

Alongside these ventures, Peter also founded an award winning photography studio in London – The Meyer Studios – which works across all photography disciplines including portraiture, travel and corporate/commercial.

As London Campus Director Peter will continue the evolution of what remains the only UK campus operated by a Swiss hospitality school, working hand-in-hand with his Program Directors and senior faculty.

In Peter’s own words, his journey to Glion is deeply rooted in a profound sense of pride and gratitude for the transformative education he received at Les Roches. His commitment to ‘paying it forward’ by providing future generations with access to high-quality education reflects his unwavering dedication to shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
